PURE TUBE uses an entirely new circuit to create its timeless sound quality. This circuit originates from the “LEWITT lab”, a research framework established in 2020 to push audio technologies to their limits.
The unique signal path is completely free from semiconductors and capacitors, so you can experience all the character of the hand-selected tube with an ultra-low noise floor.
The ultra-low noise floor makes it also fit for modern productions with heavy compression and EQ. This sets PURE TUBE apart from classic or vintage tube microphones. To put this into perspective, the noise floor of PURE TUBE is 7dB(A), which is crazy low for a tube mic, and half compared to a U87 FET mic and even less compared to a standard tube mic. In the case of PURE TUBE, the ultra-low noise level will never negatively affect your signal.
This combination of innovative circuitry, high-quality components, and hand selected ECC82/12AU7 tubes makes the PURE TUBE a high-performance microphone that is difficult to compare to conventional studio microphones, whether FET or tube.
